Play it again Sam…or should we say Prevtec! This young start-up of Valorisation-Recherche, L.P., and the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Université de Montréal has received a nod from the ADRIQ as their jury has rewarded them with a price “Coup de cœur” in the category “Innovation–Product”. This extraordinary mention from the Jury recognized Prevtec’s accomplishment for the registration and commercialization of their first commercial product, ColiProtec, in Canada. Last April, Prevtec was awarded the GENESIS award, category Transfer-Emergence, from BioQuébec.
Odotech, spin-off of Polyvalor, L.P. and Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal, was awarded the prize “Partnering” by ADRIQ at the same gala. Odotech is specialized in the measurement and monitoring of odors. Odotech offers technology solutions such as: the latest-generation dynamic dilution olfactometer, odor dispersion modeling software and an automated odor monitoring and management network using electronic noses.
